BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans sent into a frenzy as they discover Kai Widdrington’s age
Strictly Come Dancing viewers bid farewell to Kai Widdringon and Angela Rippon on Sunday night as they became the latest stars to leave the BBC competition.

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left floored after learning Kai Widdrington’s real age.
On Sunday night, the professional dancer found himself in the bottom two with his partner Angela Rippon, 79.
The duo went head-to-head with Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell in the dreaded dance-off as the judges decided to save the EastEnders star.
Speaking about their time on the show together, Kai was overcome with emotion as he sweetly broke down in tears as Angela thanked him.
Upon her exit, she said: "I have had the time of my life, people keep making reference to the fact that I presented Come Dancing, but that was forty years ago, that was a different time!
“He [Kai] wasn’t even born then! But actually being this side of the competition, this side of the programme has been really an eye-opener for me in so many different ways.”
Paying tribute to her partner, Angela told presenter Tess Daley Kai is an old soul on young shoulders.
She continued: “He’s 28 and I’m 79, there’s a 51-year difference in our ages. He has looked after me so brilliantly
“He’s a wonderful dancer and a great choreographer, but he’s a terrific teacher… and he has the patience of a saint!”

However, as Kai started to cry over Angela’s kind words, fans were stunned to discover the dancer's age.
Taking to Twitter, @SG902110 said: “Angela saying Kai wasn’t born I still can’t believe he’s ONLY 28 ffs.”
@iSaidKyleLawrie added: “Can someone please explain to me how the hell Kai is only 28?! [sic] #StrictlyComeDancing #strictly”
In disbelief, @LemonTrifle tweeted: “I thought he was about 38 years old.”
Regarding his age, @radioactivemmrs said: “The biggest shocker of strictly tonight in my opinion.”
@MattieBoy92 commented: “I just found out that Kai is 28 and I'm f*****g shook. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!”
