suffered an awkward interaction on Friday's thanks to astrologer Hagan Fox.

Dermot explained how Hagan would be on the show and the astrologer told viewers the weekend could see some "resets".

"It's my wife's birthday this weekend," the host told the astrology expert.

"Well it's a very potent, passionate conjunction Dermot, I'll leave that up to you to decide what to do," he replied.

As co-presenter Alsion Hammond gave Dermot a playful shove at the suggestion, he replied: "Yes it is, Hagan, you're absolutely right. Passionate conjunction.

"No but I mean reset, that doesn't mean she's going to want to... reset?" Dermot checked.

"No, I think you can... reset in the bedroom, for example. Passion, Dermot," Hagan replied.

As Alison chuckled, Dermot responded: "Oh, right."

"A new beginning, but no end, taking things to the next level, Dermot," Hagan continued as the presenter seemed unsure how to respond.

He joked: "That's how I like to spend my weekends, every weekend is that weekend."

Attempting to move on, he continued: "Um, give us a call for free - wow, I'm in a hole now, how do I get out of this?"

Thankfully for Dermot, the team moved the conversation along.

Later, Hagan appeared on the show to explain the weekend would see an impact on people's careers and relationships.

Dermot has face his fair share of awkward moments since he started hosting This Morning.

Last month, weather guru Dave King also left him unsure of how to respond.

Acknowledging that Dave has a good track record with his forecasting, Alison said: “Your predictions are always really good, aren’t they?”

This led Dave to respond: "Well, I use nature, I don’t sit on my a*** behind a computer in an office!"

Dermot looked mortified and Alison was somewhat taken aback and said: "No he doesn’t!"

However, rather than apologise, an embarrassed Dermot simply stated: "Thank you for the fruity language there."

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
