Bodies of four missing boys found inside car 'partially submerged in water'

Four boys who went missing on a camping trip were found dead inside a car that was “partially submerged in water", police said.
The frantic search for the teenage boys who had gone missing in north Wales ended in tragic circumstances earlier this evening (Tuesday, November 21).
Police confirmed the bodies of Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson and Hugo Morris were found after they were believed to have gone on a camping trip to Snowdonia.
The boys were meant to arrive home on Monday morning (November 20) but never turned up.
Police asked the public for information relating to the whereabouts of the car the boys were in: a silver Ford Fiesta with the registration HY14 GVO.
North Wales Police said in a statement: "Four bodies have been recovered from a car which appears to have left the road in Garreg, near Tremadog."
The car appears to have left the road on the A4085 at Garreg, near Tremadog, in a remote part of the national park.
North Wales Police said the car was found on its roof and partially submerged in water.
Supt Owain Llewelyn, of North Wales Police, said: "At present, this appears to have been a tragic accident, and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the four young men at this very difficult time.
"This has been an extensive search involving a number of different agencies and volunteers, and this is sadly not the outcome that any of us would have wanted.
"We would ask that the family be afforded the appropriate privacy and respect."

Mr Llewelyn later told reporters outside police headquarters in St Asaph: "Police officers attended and located a Ford Fiesta vehicle on its roof, partially submerged in water.
“Tragically, the bodies of four young males were recovered from within the vehicle. The families of the missing boys have been informed. Our thoughts are with them at this desperate time."
North Wales Police said investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
Crystal Owen, the mother of Harvey, said she did not know they were going on a camping trip and thought they were going to stay at friend’s grandfather’s house.
Before the tragic news was confirmed, she said: “I am frantically worried, we haven’t slept a wink, we are desperate to chase any lead we can,” in an interview with the BBC.
“If I’d have known (where he was going) I wouldn’t have let him due to the winter weather conditions."
