Fred Sirieix's I'm A Celebrity win 'sealed' as former winner gives view

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! will be back on screens this weekend, and now that the line-up has been confirmed, predictions are being made.

Tony Blackburn chats to Lorraine about I'm a Celeb 2023 campmates

has confirmed the full line-up for this series, and First Dates host Fred Sirieix has already been tipped as a favourite.

I'm A Celebrity's first-ever winner Tony Blackburn made history in 2002 as the first king of the jungle.

Appearing on   on Friday alongside last year's contestant Babatunde Aleshe, Tony explained he thought Fred would "do well".

"You both survived!" Lorraine joked after the duo talked about the trials they overcame during their own time in the jungle.

"We survived," Tony laughed before Lorraine probed: "Now look, having a look at all the people there... They're a mixed bag, it's safe to say."

"Does anybody stick out for you?" the ITV host asked.

"Well I mean, the one we were just talking about, Nigel Farage, obviously," Tony replied.

He added: "It's going to be interesting to see him..."

"And the dynamics between the group," Lorraine commented.

"Yes... And Fred - I think he could do really well," Tony predicted.

"I like him, he's a good lad, he's a good lad," Lorraine enthused.

Babatunde chimed: "I think for me Sam Thompson, he'll do well and Nella Rose.

"I'm excited to see Nella Rose because she's a massive YouTuber and she's scared of everything, like me."

Babatunde also touched on the controversial move last year for former health secretary Matt Hancock to enter the jungle.

He explained how the mix of people can be tough as Tony admitted his tactic for coping when tensions rose was to go and collect firewood.

He confessed he collected so much the crew had to remove some as it had started to get in the way of the cameras.

This year, former UKIP leader Farage's casting has sparked a huge backlash among fans, with many claiming they won't be watching the reality show for the first time.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV on Sunday at 9pm.
