Susanna Reid congratulates Richard and Judy on milestone
Good Morning Britain presenter and Express.co.uk columnist Richard Madeley is celebrating a huge milestone today and colleagues and viewers rushed to congratulate him.
His ITV colleague Susanna Reid revealed that it is his 37th wedding anniversary with wife Judy Finnegan as she applauded the accomplishment.
“I can’t believe it because it feels like about 15 years, but today it’s my 37th wedding anniversary,” he confirmed.
“And actually we were together for three or four years before that so it’s sort of 40 years,” he pondered. “[40 years] of just being under the same roof which is just ridiculous.”
Asked how the couple would celebrate he revealed that they were going for a posh dinner.
Fans were delighted with the news and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to offer their congratualtions.

A fan with the handle @wencho21 simply said: "Happy anniversary Richard and Judy."

Richard and Judy met in 1982 when they worked on separate programmes for Granada Television. Both were married at the time but after divorcing their previous partners, they married in 1986 in Manchester.
They came to public prominence as the original hosts of This Morning from its inception in 1988 until 2001. They were so popular that the programme was often referred to as Richard and Judy, rather than This Morning.
They share two children, son Jack and daughter Chloe, while Judy also has twin sons from her first marriage.
Chloe recently announced her spearation from former rugby player James Haskell after five years of marriage. The couple secretly separated in September, only 13 months after the birth of their daughter, Bodhi.
Good Morning Britain is on ITV on weekdays at 6am.
