Stars scale new heights in terrifying I'm A Celebrity challenge

They could be heard screaming from the rooftop of the Focus building in Surfers Paradise in Australia as they raced each other 110 metres in the air on two flagpoles.

Four of the celebrities took part in The Pole Challenge on the top of the 32-storey building, which was designed as a twist on the classic Walk the Plank challenge.

They faced the challenge of heavy rain and high winds as they carried out the flagpole task.

EastEnders actress Danielle Harold, 31, battled it out against First Dates’ Fred Sirieix, 51, in one of the rounds.

The pair ended up being hoisted back onto the roof of the building where Ant and Dec were there to meet them.

Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, 31, was left nervous after he looked at the scale of the height of the skyscraper before taking on the challenge against food critic Grace Dent, 50, on the task.

Walk the Plank is the first trial staged by the celebrities before they head into the jungle for up to three weeks.
