James Jordan addressed I'm A Celebrity campmate Sam Thompson who caused a stir on Monday night's show with his fun-loving attitude and infectious personality on the ITV programme.
James Jordan has suggested his pal Sam Thompson is not putting on an act.
The former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer praised the Made In Chelsea's debut on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Taking to Twitter, formerly X, on October 20, James, 45, tweeted: "Knowing Sam and having spent a lot of time with him
"He is LITERALLY like an excited Labrador puppy and the nicest person ever. It’s not an act."
Viewers commented their agreement, as one person wrote: "@SamThompsonUK is my favourite. Him and Danielle are the reason I am watching it."
Another wrote: "He's coming across really well so far."
A third commented: "I love that he loves life and doesn't see himself as a celeb he's just a fan!"
Another shared: "With Sam what you see is that you get. He’s going to be good for morale on the days when the rice and beans get them down."
James made the comments after some disgruntled viewers branded Sam "annoying" and called for him to be axed following Monday's episode.
The 31-year-old reality star is known to be excitable and he admitted his personality is down to his ADHD.

Taking to X one fan exclaimed: "Sam Thompson is going to be the overly annoying one this season. #ImACeleb."
A second fumed: "I thought Sam was going to be annoying. I was right. #ImACeleb."
"Not even a hour and I'm done with Sam, so f****** annoying", claimed a third.
As a fourth viewer claimed: "Sam was so annoying in Made in Chelsea and nothing has changed."
But it appears the tide has turned as viewers saw Sam's personality on last night's episode - even practising dance moves with JLS band member Marvin Humes.
Some viewers gushed over his cheeky antics as one commented: "Sam Thompson is bloody fantastic! Love his positive energy #ImACeleb."
Another echoed: "Sam Thompson is an absolute cutie and should be protected at all costs! He’s so genuine and real!"
