Jamie Laing's Strictly Come Dancing wish years after taking part

EXCLUSIVE: Jamie Laing took part in Strictly Come Dancing three years ago alongside dance partner Karen Hauer.

Jamie Laing explained a wish he has for as he reflected on his 2020 stint on the show which saw him make the final with Karen Hauer.

Jamie found fame in Made In Chelsea but has since gone on to star in some big reality shows.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Jamie recalled the challenge of being part of the competition.

While he admitted it was a difficult process, he said he'd love to do it again given the chance.

However, he would want a few things to be different if he joined the show again.

"I would do it again," Jamie explained when asked if he'd want to return to the dance show.

"I would dance with my wife Sophie, she would be my partner."

Continuing, he joked: "Because I'd be the professional and she would be the contestant, it would be the best."

Jamie was initially throwing his support to Zara McDermott, who is dating his former Made in Chelsea co-star Sam Thompson.

When asked who he was now hoping would win following Zara's exit a few weeks ago, Jamie stated: "I was kind of backing Zara all the way.

"And I know Layton [Williams] pretty well and he's absolutely killing it, that guy can move.

"So I feel like maybe I've got to start backing him now."

The 35-year-old took part in the 2020 series of Strictly Come Dancing and managed to make it to the final of the hit BBC show.

Last week, Krishnan Guru-Murthy became the latest celebrity to be eliminated from the competition after facing the dance off against Angela Rippon.

Sadly, the journalist narrowly missed out on this week's Blackpool episode, which fans are eagerly awaiting.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One.
