In last night’s episode of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Jamie Lynn Spears shared a moment she branded as “really embarrassing” involving her famous older sister.
The 32-year-old actress lifted the lid on the incident, which happened in 2000 when both Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera were nominated in the Best New Artist category at the Grammy Awards.
During a conversation prompted by Sam Thompson discussing his feelings after losing a podcasting award with Pete Wicks, Jamie Lynn couldn't resist recounting her sister's major setback.
When asked about Sam's audio show, he mentioned it was doing well but expressed disappointment at not winning the award.
Taking the opportunity to share her sister's experience, Jamie Lynn interrupted, saying: "Do you want to know something really embarrassing that happened?

"It involves my sister. She was up for her first Grammy. It was her and Christina.
"Britney was clearly the bigger star of that year, she worked her a** off.”
The Zoey 101 star added: "They had MTV camera crews at home watching our family, because it was like a no-brainer, she's winning. And she's there and she lost."
But the comment did not go down well with some fans of the Toxic hitmaker, as some took to Twitter to blast Jamie Lynn for “shading” her sister.
One person claimed: "Jamie Lynn used to taunt Britney about Christina being cooler and more talented, and wanting to be more like her.

One viewer said: "Jamie Lynn talking about the Christina Grammy moment is going to send the Britney Twitter stans into a meltdown."
