I'm A Celebrity's Jill Scott issues warning to new camp as she urges lying to producers

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner Jill Scott said she wished she didn't tell the show's researchers she was scared of rats and heights, as she urged future camp mates to keep what they dislike to themselves in the hope of avoiding challenges related to their fears.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner Jill Scott has urged those wanting to go into the jungle to lie about their fears to the show's researchers for a possible easier ride on the show.

Speaking on Zoe Ball's Radio 2 show this month, she, the host and fellow guest Paloma Faith discussed her experience on the show on and off air.

Relaying a conversation they had as a song played, Paloma said Jill, 36, forgot she could've said she was scared of something a bit nicer than heights and rats.

"She told them it was rats and ended up with one on her armpit," the singer spilled.

Asked if she was now friends with the rodents, Jill said: "No, I'm not friends with rats but if you two ever want to do the show, I would give the advice for the research call... don't tell them everything that hate.

"Basically I said heights and I think it was the first show I was hanging off this building."

Paloma joked she would've said she was scared of "candyfloss" or "newborn babies" in the hope of being put in a room with them.

"They would probably put you in a room with a hundred screaming babies and see how long you could deal with it," Jill chimed in.

The former Lioness has since urged this year's campmates to "embrace" the highs and lows of the experience.

She told OK! Magazine: "I honestly can’t believe it’s been a year since I was there.

“It’s such a unique experience and I think that’s why genuine friendships are made there.

“You can’t really explain what it’s like unless you’ve been there."

Jill went on to urge new campers to "find someone in there that you can relate to" as she credited Owen Warner, Chris Moyles and Charlene White for being her biggest support during the lows.

"When times are tough, you need someone to speak to," she added.

Since Jill's interview, 10 new campmates have landed in Australia ready for this year's upcoming series hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Celebrities set for the jungle are; Nigel Farage, Marvin Humes, Danielle Harold, Josie Gibson, Nick Pickard, Grace Dent, Nella Rose, Sam Thompson, Fred Sirieix and Jamie Lynn Spears.

Those scared of heights, like Jill, will be keen to avoid the terrifying Walk the Plank trial, which is reportedly set for a new twist this series.

A source told The Sun: "One thing is immediately clear from the pictures we’ve seen of trial structures so far and now the brand new Focus Building set-up - ITV hasn’t come to play this year.

“The volume has been well and truly cranked up on every Bushtucker Trial. Everything is on track for a bigger and better series than ever.”

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! returns November 19 on ITV at 9pm.
