BBC Strictly Come Dancing star left horrified after nan uncovers risqué items at home
Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams, who is due to impress viewers this week by strutting his stuff to a Christina Aguilera tune, has revealed a mortifying moment brought on by his sexy clothing.
Strictly Come Dancing's Layton Williams was horrified when his grandmother accidentally came across his raunchy underwear, and at first barely knew what to say.
Talking to Kathy Burke on her Where There's A Will, There's A Wake podcast, the 29-year-old told of how he "died" cringing.
"I had a really embarrassing moment when nan came to stay with me a few weeks back... we were rushing to get ready, so she was helping me hang out the washing, and I forgot that I had my sexy underwear in there," he revealed.
“So I went outside and on the peg was just like all of these inappropriate, sexy underwear - and I just died. I was like, 'Oh my God.'”
To make matters worse, his grandmother replied: "Don't worry, darling, we all have them", forcing the dancefloor star to picture her own collection before driving the thought out of his mind.

"That was even worse [because] I don’t want to think about the fact that [she's] got them now as well," he groaned.
Layton continued that, with the benefit of forethought, he'd have recruited his friends to “sneak in first and hide my sexy bits and bobs" so that no-one else could see them.
The Bad Education star revealed that his blush-worthy moments weren't just restricted to grandparents, as he's been caught in an awkward situation with his mum too.
"You don’t want your mum finding your douche… actually she found it the other day!" the star confided.

He added: "I don’t want my mum finding stuff like that! I need to start putting locks on my drawers!"
However, there's no secret about Layton parading a flamboyant range of outerwear on Strictly, with his outfits - everything from chainmail to feathers - delighting viewers.
That said, the West End actor recently revealed he's sometimes so scantily clad that he makes the cameramen on the BBC show feel uncomfortable.
"I keep getting told by the camera crew to wear more clothes. In the training room, they’re like: ‘We’re seeing a lot of things,’ he stated, as reported by The Mirror.
"But this is how I feel comfortable. I’ve got my jock strap on, it’s the BBC, but everything is nice and tight and together.”
Meanwhile, although he and pro partner Nikita Kuzmin will have to contend with the likes of strong favourites Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, it's still believed they have a chance of winning the Glitterball trophy.
The pair will be giving it their best shot this weekend when they plan to dance together to Christina Aguilera's Ain't No Other Man.
