Marvin Humes discovers secret note in suitcase and it's helping him on I'm A Celebrity

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Marvin Humes said wife Rochelle Humes slipped a note into his suitcase before he left for Australia, which has seemingly helped him on the show so far.

JLS star Marvin shares three children Alaia-Mai, 10, Valentina, six, and three-year-old son Blake with his long-term wife Rochelle, 34.

After arriving in Australia for the show, the 38-year-old shared details about a note he discovered in his bag ahead of taking on a scary skydive.

He spilled: "When I left, Rochelle and the kids wrote a note and stuck it in my suitcase which I found yesterday.

"It said how much they loved me and told me how proud of me they are. My 10 year old said, 'Daddy, I'm so proud of you conquering your fears, just don’t say no to anything and do your best'."

He added to The Mirror: "That’s from my 10 year old. You know, so, so sweet that she’s telling me to conquer my fears and get stuck in. I just want to make them proud."

Marvin went on to say he had already inspired his eldest child to conquer her own fears of rollercoasters by signing up to the show, knowing it's likely he'll face his fear of heights.

After admitting his concerns, the singer was faced with a challenge he was hoping to avoid during his time in the jungle.

On Monday night, viewers witnessed him bravely taking on the skydive alongside Jamie Lynn Spears and Nick Pickard.

The singer was seen taking multiple deep breaths as he watched his co-stars drop out of the plane, before it was his turn.

After finally having his go, he excitedly expressed his relief at finally conquering his fear of heights.

The challenge came after he previously admitted getting "wobbly" after viewing work at his house which was just two storeys up.

"I think it's just as I've got older you know, when I was younger, I was on the biggest roller coaster in the world," he said of his fear.

"Nothing of it. I think it's just as you get older and you've got children you just genuinely don't know what it is."

Of why he signed up for the show, Marvin joked he may be having a midlife crisis, but admitted it was the one show he had always wanted to do.

"It’s the first time they’ve asked me, so I’m here, and I'm absolutely over the moon," he added.

"I'm going to be hitting my fears head on. But you know what? It feels like it's the right time to do that."

After announcing the producers had finally taken his phone off him as part of the show's protocol, Rochelle hinted that the thought of no contact with him for almost four weeks had made her feel ill.

But being every inch the supportive wife, she added in a comment alongside sick emojis: "Omg this is actually happening!!! Let’s go baby."
