Meghan Markle put on a brave front as she rubbed shoulders with some of Hollywood's elite amid explosive new royal bombshells which have surfaced.

The Crown: Season 6 preview

Meghan Markle isn't letting a few shock royal revelations stop her from having a good time with her Hollywood pals as she moves on.

The Duchess of Sussex put on an elegant display for the star-studded event held at the Mother Wolf restaurant in Los Angeles.

Meghan donned a pricey camel, off-the-shoulder Proenza Schouler dress which she complimented with a pair of black $895 Aquazzura heels and a tiny clutch bag.

She kept her hair and look simple, sporting a classy slick back bun and natural dewy makeup.

The former Suits alum enjoyed the night alongside other big-name celebrities like Dua Lipa, Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah, Emily Blunt as well as the night's honorees Carey Mulligan, Fantasia Barrino, Lily Gladstone, and Billie Eilish.

This glitzy outing is Meghan's first public appearance since rumours of controversy were sparked between the Sussexes and author Omid Scobie, who is set to publish his new book Endgame at the end of the month.

The new book details the story of how Meghan and Prince Harry found out about Queen Elizabeth II's looming demise, alleging they were largely kept in the dark about her deteriorating condition.

Meghan and Harry have since denied those claims and have distanced themselves from the book and Omid, who was once one of their allies as they continue to be on bad terms with the other royals.

Ironically, Meghan's big night out on Thursday comes just a little over a year after the Queen's death, which prevented her from attending the same event last year in fall 2022.

Omid's groundbreaking book wasn't the only controversy the Duchess was trying to take her mind off of, as on the same day the sixth and final season of Netflix's controversial drama The Crown landed on the streaming giant's site.

The historical drama has been making headlines ahead of its release due to recreating and detailing the months leading up to Princess Diana's infamous death in Paris in 1997.

Diana and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed tragically died in a car crash while their driver, Henri Paul, who also lost his life in the crash, was fleeing the paparazzi.

While Meghan didn't want to draw attention to the recent royal controversies, she did make a point of sharing some "exciting" projects she and Harry have in the pipeline.

During a chat with Variety, who hosted the event, she was asked what she was working on - to which she revealed it was projects "that make you feel-".

The actress-turned-royal went on to say: "I was going to say things that make people feel good, but it's more than that. Things that make people feel something, right? And a sense of community.

"But we have so many exciting things on the slate, I can't wait until we can announce them. I'm just really proud of what we're creating," she coyly added.

The Crown season 6, part 1, is now available to stream on Netflix.
