Meghan Markle's secret to healthy, glowing skin has been revealed in an unearthed interview - and it needn't break the bank.

As the winter chill sets in, prioritising a healthy diet is crucial for maintaining clear and radiant skin.

One of the most pressing concerns during the winter season is dryness and dullness of skin but aesthetic doctors have revealed a list of superfoods to eat to avoid this.

Doctors from Sozo Aesthetic Clinic explained that a nourishing, well-balanced diet rich in antioxidants and hydration is the secret to combating the harsh effects of winter on your skin.

The experts also revealed Meghan Markle's go-to superfood for healthy skin: nuts.

Nuts can be beneficial for the skin due to their nutrient content, such as almonds, walnuts and pistachios.

Almonds are especially loved by multiple celebrities, including the Duchess, who has previously named almonds as her go-to snack for glowing skin.

Nuts, especially Brazil nuts, are high in selenium, a mineral with antioxidant properties that can help clear skin and decrease acne breakouts.

Back in 2016, when rumours of a romance with Prince Harry were just beginning to crop up, Meghan spoke with Delish about her favourite foods.

According to the interview, she would eat almonds and gluten-free foods to get healthy glowing skin for when she would appear on camera for her role in Suits.

However, sister-in-law Kate Middleton opts for omega-3 fatty acids, which can have considerable benefits to the skin.

The Princess regularly enjoys eating sushi and salmon teriyaki, likely due to their collagen-boosting properties, which are important for keeping the skin looking youthful and rejuvenated.

Salmon, especially, is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and nutrients, including astaxanthin, which helps protect the skin from oxidative stress, contributing to anti-aging benefits
