The Modern Warfare 3 campaign will be available to play as early as this week for pre-order customers. While the full game won't be available to play until November 9, pre-order customers can start playing the campaign from November 2. If you have pre-ordered the game and want to start playing the moment the game goes live, then Activision recommends pre-loading the game ahead of schedule.

If you're looking to download the campaign early, then Activision has confirmed the exact date and time pre-loading will go live.

According to Activision, pre-order customers will be able to pre-load the campaign from 5pm GMT on November 1.

There's no word on how much space you'll need for the Modern Warfare 3 campaign, so check back for confirmation once pre-loading goes live.

A direct sequel to the iconic Modern Warfare 2, the campaign features the return of classic Call of Duty villain Vladimir Makarov.

"In the direct sequel to the record-breaking Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Captain Price and Task Force 141 face off against the ultimate threat," reads the official description.

"The ultranationalist war criminal Vladimir Makarov is extending his grasp across the world causing Task Force 141 to fight like never before."
