Omid Scobie is gearing up for the release of his brand-new bombshell royal book, Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy's fight for survival, on November 28, 2023.

With less than two weeks until its release, royal fans are taking to social media to discuss what is awaiting them and what they can likely expect, but many are suggesting the exact same thing.

Many fans have taken to X - formerly known as Twitter - to suggest that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are behind the book and that the former royal couple are "the sources" used to compile the information.

This comes after previous knowledge that Meghan did provide information for his first book, Finding Freedom, which was released in 2020 and co-wrote with Carolyn Durand.

Because of this, fans are now speculating that Omid Scobie gained a little insider knowledge for his latest release from, not only Meghan, but Prince Harry and their PR team for his new release.

One royal fan wrote: "All comes from the same sources, Harry and Meghan and their PR", with another writing: "We all know his sources are Harry and Meghan. The 'two [f******] grifters'."

Talking about released content from the new book, a third wrote: "From released snippets it is very clear that Meghan [and] Harry have worked alongside him."

Another fan likened it to Prince Harry's bombshell memoir, Spare and branded it as "Spare 2.0".

They also wrote: "Sources are Harry and Meghan[.] Remember when Meghan "forgot" she collaborated with finding freedom, lied to court and was forced to apologize? We don’t forget!."

Despite this, and undoubtedly after seeing the influx of comments, Mr Scobie has taken to his own X account to confirm that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had no input in the new release.

He wrote: "And let’s get this nonsense out the way - Endgame is about the current state of the British Royal Family.

"It’s not "Harry and Meghan’s book", I’m not "Meg’s pal", the Sussexes have nothing to do with it, their story is a small part of a much bigger one you can read in 12 days."

Following the release of Finding Freedom in 2020, Meghan and Harry both denied having had any input, adding that its authors do not speak on their behalf.

Then, in 2021, Meghan and Harry's former communications secretary, Jason Knauf, submitted a witness statement to the Court of Appeal.

In his statement, Mr Knauf said that Harry and Meghan "authorised specific cooperation in writing in December 2018".

He added that "the book was discussed directly with the Duchess multiple times in person and over email" and claimed that Meghan had gave the authors "helpful" written "background reminders" and briefing notes "for when you sit down with them".
