Piers Morgan tears into ‘spineless’ guest over Hamas views: ‘Sound like Jeremy Corbyn'

The second half of Piers Morgan's heated debate with controversial media personality Andrew Tate has aired and the TalkTV presenter was left fuming over his guest's stance on the Israel-Hamas war.

Piers Morgan challenges Andrew Tate on Hamas 'terrorists'

Piers Morgan branded Andrew Tate “spineless” in his latest Uncensored interview for refusing to call Hamas a terrorist organisation.

The former ITV presenter’s TalkTV show aired the second part of his interview with the controversial businessman, who is currently unable to leave Romania due to an ongoing investigation into “money laundering and trafficking of minors”.

Morgan challenged Tate’s views on women which have frequently been called misogynistic, and also pried him for his stance on the conflict in Gaza.

Tate refused to call Hamas a terrorist group and, instead, criticised Israel’s treatment of Palestinian people.

Morgan demanded: “One more time, is Hamas a terror group who committed an act of terrorism?”

“I think that when you lock people into an open-air prison you can expect a retaliation,” his guest replied.

The presenter spoke over Tate: “You’re not going to answer.”

Tate then tried to respond before Morgan interrupted again: “If you don’t mind me saying, I think it’s spineless.

“I do. You sound like Jeremy Corbyn.”

Tate admitted “That is an insult,” but continued to hold his finger up to try and finish his point.

“Did you see my interview with him?” Morgan asked, and Tate confirmed he hadn’t.

“15 times last week, I asked him the same question,” the Uncensored host explained.

“15 times he prevaricated and wouldn’t answer. Eventually, when someone does that enough times you know what they really think. You don’t think they’re a terror group.”

The conversation became even more heated as Morgan and Tate proceeded to shout over each other, with the TalkTV host refusing to let his guest answer.

Morgan listed off several acts of terror by Hamas, including “killing Holocaust survivors" and "decapitating people”, as Tate replied “Piers” to try and cut in.

Although Morgan appeared to this round, his interview didn’t get the reception he was perhaps hoping for when it reached X, formerly Twitter.

One viewer fumed: “Piers, Can you please let people speak more than 2 sentences before you interrupt them?”

And another replied: “It's spineless from you to be afraid to speak and condemn what was happening to Palestinians before October the 7th.”

While one more said: “At this point just boycott his show. Only watch snippets here, not watch youtube don’t watch on tv.

“His show is basically about him throwing tantrum and not letting his guests speak and thinking he’s winning.” (sic)

Piers Morgan Uncensored airs weekdays at 8pm on TalkTV.
