William and Kate share intimate moment in Buckingham Palace

Princess Kate and Princess William have sent royal fans into a frenzy after a sweet moment between them was caught on camera.

The royal couple have been helping to entertain the President of the Republic of Korea and the First Lady during the first day of their state visit to the UK.

This afternoon, they were joined by King Charles and Queen Camilla, the Duchess of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester to show Yoon Suk Yeol and Kim Keon Hee an exhibition of Korean items from The Royal Collection.

But as the Prince and Princess of Wales were leaving Buckingham Palace's Picture Gallery, a tender moment was caught on camera.

William placed his hand on the small of Kate's back, she turned to look at her husband, and smiled before returning the gesture and placing her hand on his back.

Earlier they greeted South Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol and Kim Keon Hee at their hotel in London, as Mr Yoon and his wife landed at Stanstead airport yesterday.

Princess Kate and William then travelled with Mr Yoon and the First Lady to Horse Guards Parade to receive a full ceremonial welcome from King Charles and Queen Camilla, with military pomp and pageantry on display.

The president and the King proceeded to inspect the troops together, before the two royal couples and their guests then travelled down The Mall via royal carraige to Buckingham Palace where they had a private lunch.

Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife Kim Keon Hee are staying in the UK for three days as part of the state visit, which marks the first since King Charles’s coronation in May.
