Tesco makes major change to its signature meal deal ahead of Christmas
Tesco customers may notice something different about the retailer's popular meal deal range following a major change to mark the festive season.
The supermarket giant has announced an exciting new addition to its lunchtime meal deal offer ahead of Christmas.
For years, Tesco shoppers have been able to get their hands on a three-piece meal which includes a main, snack and drink for somewhere in the region of £3.
Currently, the regular price stands at £3.90 for non-Clubcard members and £3.40 for those who do have one, though there is also an option for the £5 meal deal which includes a luxury range of items.
And now, all customers can grab a festive lunch with a two-pack of Tesco Mini Mince Pies available as a snack.
The seasonal sweet treats aren’t the only Christmas-themed foods that have hit shelves this November either.

Tesco confirmed that several other limited-edition snacks are on offer to take festive feasting at lunchtime to the next level.
These include Mini Pork and cranberry Pies and Pigs in Blanket Flavour Sausage Rolls.
Meal deal fans can only choose one per meal deal, however, though it is possible to purchase them as standalone additions too.
Of course, it’s much cheaper to buy the seasonal side dishes as part of the deal, with the two-pack of Mini Mince Pies alone costing £1.25 outside of the offer.

The festivities don’t end there though, with a wide range of Christmas-themed sandwiches also available in Tesco stores now.
An exciting new festive sandwich has joined fan favourites this year, known as the Tesco Festive Duo - a delicious combination of one Pigs Under Blanket Sandwich and one Chicken, Bacon & Stuffing Sandwich.
Tesco’s limited edition Christmas snacks and mains will be available as part of the lunchtime meal deal until January 8, 2024.
