‘I’m in a parking war with my neighbour who keeps breaking petty rule'

The woman explained in her note that if the parking did not improve that she would take further action against the driver.

A parking war has erupted between a woman and her neighbour who she claims keeps breaking a petty rule.

In a video posted on TikTok, the woman can be seen walking towards a red Honda SUV with a note.

As the woman walks towards the car, she explains both in the caption and elsewhere why she is about to put a note on the car.

The conflict has erupted over the neighbour’s appalling attitude to parking which has irritated the woman whose new flatmates are using her space.

In the caption, she said: “Parking on the inside of my parking spot again. I left a kind note before bringing it up to the property manager.

“It’s not hard to park centre, he parks like this on purpose because he knows I can’t park there if he parks like that.”

Alongside the caption, the woman had also left a note in which she asked her “parking spot neighbour” to get better at parking.

In her note, she explains why she needs him to move and why she feels his parking decisions are unjustified.

She explained: “Dear Parking Spot neighbour. I recently informed you that my new roommates are going to be occupying my parking space and that we will park how we desire which is tail end in. First to make it easier for access,

“This little letter is to ask you to stop parking directly in a line as it makes it more difficult to park and gives us less space. I don’t care that you think if everyone is parked a certain way it saves more space, it won’t work.

“If the parking doesn’t improve I will have to inform the property manager and HOA. Sorry I missed you. Your parking spot neighbour.”

Following the post, the woman’s video received hundreds of responses from people on how to deal with the ongoing situation.

One person suggested: “Back in with your passenger side against his driver side and make it so he can't get in his vehicle, easy.”

Another added: “Petty me would push his mirror in and I would pull up in my spot so they have to climb over the seat to get in. A few times and they will stop.”

A third said: “Do you know what apt they are in? if so, wait until super late and go pound on the door and tell them to move their car or it's getting towed or you will block it in.”
