Tim Lovejoy has teased an appearance on this year's I'm A Celebrity as a late entrant to the series.

The 55-year-old appeared as host on his usual Sunday Brunch gig and made the revelation while speaking about this year's line-up.

He said: "They didn't announce me because I'm the surprise, I go in later."

Co-host Simon Rimmer, 60, asked: "Oh, you go in later?"

Tim then proceeded to speak to guest Seann Walsh, who ended up coming fifth after starring in last year's series.

"We've got the winner of last year, you won last year didn't you Seann?" he asked.

Seann, 37, responded: "Oh yeah, I won. If fifth is winning, then yeah I won."

"You won our hearts," Tim sweetly expressed to the comedian.

The line-up for the new series was unveiled on Monday with Nigel Farage, This Morning's Josie Gibson and YouTuber Nella Rose leading the pack.

Also hoping to avoid the dreaded bushtucker trials are First Dates star Fred Sirieix, Made in Chelsea's Sam Thompson, Jamie Lynn-Spears and singer Marvin Humes.

Rounding up the line-up is food critic Grace Dent, as well as soap stars Danielle Harold and Nick Pickard.

In a preview for the first episode, it's been revealed that Marvin, Jamie Lynn and Nick are the first three contestants to take on the Bushtucker trial. After facing their skydive, Marvin, Nick and Jamie Lynn are thrust straight into the Temple of Doom.

In a teaser clip for the episode which airs tonight, the trio must work together in order to win all their stars.

As the klaxon sounds, Nick is seen lying in between Marvin and Jamie with his hands and feet tied to each side of the circle.

Marvin and Jamie are laid in a glass box and have to figure out what the spinning concrete letters spell out, all whilst having red ants crawling over them.

As Marvin attempts the first word and exclaims: "Oh mate... Bugs, bugs, bugs!" before Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly reply: "Yes, bugs is correct!"

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! begins tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
